On the next episode of Hollywood and Beyond Podcast a lady who gave a memorable performance on “The Edge Of Night” (CBS/ABC) as DiDi Bannister will be my special guest - Mariann Aalda. Her performance though went beyond acting itself as Mariann is credited for helping pave the way for African-American women on Daytime Television and who inspired countless ladies to achieve goals or a dream. In this sentimental conversation, Mariann shares stories of her time on not only “Edge Of Night”, but also on HBO’s hit “1st & Ten” in which she co-starred with OJ Simpson and later also with Redd Foxx on his last television show “The Royal Family”. Memories of co-stars Irving Allen Lee and Della Reese are all shared. A sentimental and truly in-depth conversation full of career memories!
